Abdominal Hernia Reconstruction

Abdominal hernia reconstruction involves surgically replacing the protruding organ back into the abdomen and repairing the weakness.

This area can simply be repaired by placing specialized permanent supporting stitches to reinforce the weakness but on occasion does requires a synthetic mesh to further reinforce the repair.

This can be performed at the same time as a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) or part of a mummy makeover. This is because very often there is a looseness of skin after the repair.

The final cost of any hernia reconstruction is determined on a case by case basis dependent on complexity and the combination of any other additional procedures.

Combination surgeries will lower the price of individual surgeries if done together.
