Surgical Procedure
Dupuytrens Surgery
Dupuytrens disease removal surgery involves surgically removing the tight bands of connective tissue in the hand to help straighten the fingers and soften the palm.
This is often performed through zig zag incisions and sometime skin grafts are required.
It can be performed under local or general anaesthesia and with a tourniqet on the arm (to reduce blood flow in the hand) and once released a specialized dressing is applied to the hand.
The final cost is determined on a case by case basis dependent on complexity and the combination of any other additional procedures.
A full surgical no-commitment consultation with Dr Rory will provide all the necessary details for your particular case.
