Scar Revision

Scar revision simply refers to the surgical treatment to improve the appearance of a scar.

This most often involves removal of the existing scar and stitching it in such a sway as to improve its appearance.

This is performed by either realigning the scar or through meticulous skin closure under magnification.

All scars will take approximately eighteen months to reach maturity and final appearance. In this time massage, silicone therapy, steroid injections and protection from sunlight may be required.

The final cost of any scar revision treatment is determined on a case by case basis dependent on complexity and the combination of any other additional procedures.

Combination surgeries will lower the price of individual surgeries if done together.
